Among the things I have always found fascinating is how one idea, thing or object can please some and displease others. There are many old and new sayings that succinctly describe the truth that people are different and possess different tastes and predelictions. Any effort at trying to please everyone is most often likely to end in disaster. As a result of this thinking, I decided to please only one person, myself.
