My new contract took me to Alabama. For a Yank used to cold and snow it was a culture shock just dealing with the weather, much less the people. Soon however, I was back into the groove and a part of the local scene. That's the best way to do what I like to do, honestly. I'd moved into an apartment complex and gotten settled. I usually chose an apartment that most road warriors would find beneath them - lower income, a lot of kids and a lot of single mothers. For me, it was more than an ideal situation.

I hadn't been in my apartment for a week when I met the first neighbor, Marsha. She was, as was almost expected, a single mom. Her son, Eric, was 14. He was a tall young man and in his own right, pretty good looking. But he was also painfully shy, as was evident on our first meeting when he mostly mumbled and looked down when he talked to me.

I got to know Marsha pretty well over the next few weeks, even going out on a date with her. She wasn't a bad looking woman, but she'd certainly seen better days. It was about that time an idea started to develop in my head regarding Eric.

I tend to label myself as 'sexual' - with no real orientation. I'd just as soon fuck a woman all night long as I would a boy, or a girl. True, I preferred a younger partner to an older one, but gender was not usually an issue to me.

One night, when I was over at Marsha's after work, she told me a bit about Eric.

"He's a good kid, you know? Never gets in trouble or nothing. But he's so damned shy!" She said with a laugh as she sipped her drink.

"Maybe he just needs more male influences in his life?" I asked.

Marsha shrugged, "Maybe, but I'm not about to get married again so he has an influence," she said with a sarcastic chuckle.

I smiled and nodded. "I know what you mean, but maybe he needs more of a big brother, not a father, you know?"

Marsha raised her eyebrows and asked, "You offering?"....(cont)
