Laura
Written by Ron
His finger touched a button and as several CCTV monitors came to life, he got an evil grin on his face. "Instead I have thought of something better."
He looked at the image of a young girl spread eagle on the bed with ties holding her in place, brown hair, creamy smooth skin, the beginnings of breasts sprouting on her otherwise flat chest, the rest of her as naked as can be. And very frightened. "She really is a strikingly beautiful girl, Vargus. As you can see you are not going to be paying the price this day. Laura is."
"NOOOOOOOO. For god's sake, Mr. Antonovich, please, just give me a few days. I'll sell my house. I'll sign it over to you, anything you want. Just don't do this. She's only eleven. She'll be ruined, torn up inside. For god's sake, please give me a chance." Vargus struggled against the handcuffs holding him to the chair.
"You know, anyone can rape a girl, it takes so little talent. But I know of someone that can do so much more." the grinning man said. "Just watch an expert at work. I'm going to enjoy this. Want some popcorn?" he asked cheerfully.
"Not my Laura. Please, god no, don't let this happen."
"Far too late for begging and it's so undignified," he answered.
A man came into the view of the camera and looked at the young girl laid out on the bed, arms and legs spread wide with soft ropes leading to the four corners of the bed.
"Your name is Laura," the man said, giving the scared girl a soft look. "I'm Reggie. I know you're probably terribly scared right now but I want you to know no one is going to hurt you, not as long as I'm here with you. I bet you don't like not having any clothes on and having me look at you either, but that can't be helped right now. I don't hurt girls, I really don't. I love children. I teach them things too and I'm going to teach you some fun things."
"No. Go away," Laura told him, struggling against the bonds. "Don't look at me."
"But you are a very beautiful girl. I can't help but look at beauty. Much like many look at fine art works at the museums, I like to look at the human form. It's so much more ... alive ... than the dead and sterile two-dimensional pictures one sees in a museum. No, there is so much more to be appreciated in a living person, so much more warmth, so much fulfillment. Can you understand my point of view?" Reggie asked.
"I don't care. I don't want you to see me like this," she said and hiccupped. In seconds she was sobbing softly, staring at the man looking down at her then flinching as he sat on the bed next to her.
"Please go away," she pleaded through her tears.
"I said I don't hurt girls. Do you believe me when I say that?" He gave her his very best disarming and reassuring smile.
Laura looked at him closely, watched his eyes that were fixed on hers. "I ... I guess so," she sobbed out.
Reggie pulled out a kleenex from his pocket. "Here, let me wipe those tears away. I understand why you might feel scared, I really do, but there isn't anything to be afraid of." He wiped her tears and the bit of wetness under her nose. "Look at me Laura," he told her.
"Now, do I really look like an evil man that would harm you?" he asked softly.
"I guess not," Laura answered shakily.
"And do you believe me when I say I'm not here to hurt you but to teach you, to let you experience new things that I can show you?"
"I ... I guess so," Laura agreed trepidously.
"It's something your father wants you to know but he's too embarrassed to tell you about all of it. It's what every young person needs to know before they can grow up to be the adults they are going to be. I learned when I was your age and now you are lucky enough to be able to also."
"Daddy wouldn't make me be like this."
