    Just One Of The Girls

    Written by Ree X

      Prologue - A Harmless Prank

It started as a joke. We had just moved to a new neighborhood where nobody knew us, but our father still drove us to our old school each day, so we wouldn't have to switch schools in the middle of the school year. My sister was ten, and I was eleven, and we had done a lot of exploring, so I knew all about how girls were built. But that's another story (several, actually).

The joke was her idea, initially. One of the girls in the neighborhood had invited her to a pajama party so she could meet some of the other girls. My sister knew the main topic would be boys, and thought it would be neat if they all thought her "little sister" knew more about boys than they did.

Now you start to get the idea. But that's not all there was to it. You see, I never made friends easily with boys my age. All they were interested in were sports, and most of them still considered girls nothing more than a nuisance. Before we moved, I had a best friend that I did all kinds of stuff with, which is yet another story. I'm not gay or anything, it just feels nice, you know?

Anyway, here I was a million miles away, and really depressed with it. I really didn't think I'd ever find someone I could even talk about those kind of things with, let alone do them. I talked to my sister about it, and she gave me some ideas, most of them seemed impossible from my point of view. But we'd always been close, and I trusted her. That's when she suggested the switch.

We hadn't given up playing "dress up" like most kids, and I had gained considerable expertise in makeup, high heels and dresses. In other words, cross-dressing. My sister liked having a sister and a brother, and I got a kick out of being able to switch on demand. It had started out as a joke on my sister, messing with her brain. For almost a month, I had her believing she had a sister and a brother living in the house with her. Then our parents got wind of it.

They set my little sister straight (she was three and I was four). She cried herself to sleep that night having "lost" her sister, and I felt really bad about it. The next day, I told her we could still pretend if she wanted to, as long as Mom and Dad didn't find out. We'd had some serious fun with it since then.

It wasn't until a bus ride home from school three years later that it finally sank in that I was her sister, too. We talked about it, and I managed to keep her from bawling again. The only way to do that of course, was to start talking to her like her sister. She looked up at me and I held my shoulder-length hair back like a ponytail, and had her laughing in minutes. We've been very close ever since then. Very close.

My full name is Donald Samuel Rogers. I use Dawn or Sam in my female persona, and Don or Sam in my male persona. Pretty cool, huh? I decided I would be Sam and Dawn, brother and little sister. It would only work until I started my growth spurt, but it'd be fun while it lasted. Julie and I talked about a lot of other details that I won't go into, and now that I look back on it, I'm somewhat surprised at just how thorough we were. Julie and I always made a good team.

We went through our clothes, old and new, and decided what worked and what didn't. Julie somehow got approval past Dad, and of course at "nine", I was only "a year younger" than Julie, so Sara didn't mind her "little sister" tagging along when Julie said I was "OK".

Thinking about Bobby and his picture, I asked Julie if she wanted to bring a picture of a naked boy with her. She looked at me kinda funny, then read my thoughts as usual. I told her to make sure they wouldn't see my face, and she took several pictures.

She ended up choosing a closeup from the front with my legs spread. And I liked the one from the back with my balls hanging down. We hid the rest, dressed, and headed over. We decided to use Bobby as the name for the boy in the pictures, and decided he would be "a boy we used to live just down the street in our old neighborhood". Half way there, I put my shoulder length hair into a ponytail and slipped in a pair of silver studs to make sure the girls came to the right conclusions.......(cont)
