Becky's Holiday, part 2
Written by Poker
David Rawlings sat at a secluded table in the hotel restaurant. With him was Becky; the lovely 10 year old sat, bouncing with excitement, waiting for her new friend and lover, Susan, to arrive. She looked up and smiled, as she saw the Jameson family walk in. She wasn't the only person to smile, diners around the restaurant turned their heads, the Jameson's were an arresting sight, all of them uniformly tanned with white blonde hair.
Helen Jameson looked around the room and saw Becky, sitting with her father. The poor man had a wary look on his face. "I'll have to put him at his ease" she thought, "It looks as if he could have a heart attack any moment". She walked gracefully over to the table, her three children in tow. As they got close, Susan ran up to Becky and the two friends hugged. Helen held out her hand and David, standing, took it.
'Hi, I'm Helen Jameson; Susan's mother.'
'Hi. David; David Rawlings; Becky's Dad.'
'Pleased to meet you David. 'It looks like our daughter's have arranged a meal together, doesn't it?'
David stood to one side, as a pair of waiters joined together two of the small tables, to make a table for six. Eventually, they were all seated. Becky and Susan were on one of the long sides. The two male members of the gathering sat at either end of the table. David sat next to Susan; while 13 year old Philip sat next to Becky. Helen placed herself next to David, while, little 6 year old Dawn sat between her mother and her big brother. After ordering drinks, everyone settled down. Small talk was exchanged and David slowly grew more at ease. Helen seemed quite relaxed, even though she had caught their two daughters in bed together that afternoon.
'So, David. I want to reassure you that I don't have a problem with you sleeping with Susan.'
David choked and spat out some of his rum punch. She wasn't supposed to know that!
Helen continued. 'I have always brought up my children to be completely open about sex. You were Susan's first adult man, but not her first experience of sex. We have all been having sex of some sort with each other right from when the children could first say yes or no. So don't worry. I'm not going to cause trouble. In fact, the opposite. What I propose is, that we stay relaxed, and just take things as they come.'
David, a stunned look on his face, stammered 'Th... that sounds OK with me. I believe in letting children make their own decisions too.'
'So that's settled then.......' Helen lay a slim hand on David's in reassurance.
Over the next two hours, David and Helen chatted, becoming more comfortable with each other. By ten o'clock, little Dawn was beginning to nod. At 6, ten o'clock was way past her bed time, whether she was on holiday or not. Seeing Dawn's eyes start to glaze, Helen made a decision.
'Well, it looks like my little girl needs her beauty sleep. Would you and Becky like to come back for a drink?'
David looked across at his little girl and saw that he had no choice.
'We'd love to' he said, smiling.
Gathering Dawn up in her arms, Helen lead the way back to her luxury suite. She closed the door and headed straight for the smallest bedroom to put Dawn, now asleep on her shoulder, to bed.
'What would you like to drink, Mr Rawlings?' inquired Philip. At 13 he was becoming quite a little gentleman.
'Rum and Coke if you have it. You can call me David by the way, we are all supposed to be on holiday after all.'
'OK Mr...... David. Just Coke for you two?' Philip asked, turning to the two little girls.'
'Yes please Philip.'
'Please.'
As they all took their drinks and sat down, Helen returned to the room and picked up the Gin and Tonic that Philip had prepared for her. She turned on the music system and selected a soothing CD by Nat King Cole. The first chords of "Unforgettable" spread through the room and she sat down on one of the sofas, next to David. Taking his hand she looked deep into his eyes as if she were a doctor, investigating a patient's migraine.
'OK now? A bit more relaxed?'
David smiled and squeezed Helen's hand.
'Much more relaxed now, thanks.'
'Good. You children; everything OK?'
'Yes Mum.'
'Now then. What does everyone want to do?'
'I want to go to bed!' piped up Susan.
'Me too!' giggled Becky.
Philip sat stiffly, going slightly red, not saying anything.
'I don't believe it....... Philip acting shy.' remarked Helen. 'Does this mean you like Becky?'.....(cont)
