Officer Austin sat in the patrol car, all of the lights off, snatching a quick break. It had been a crazy night and he just needed to chill for a while. It was about a metre across and seemed to be filled with glowing smoke. In an instant the bubble popped, leaving a perfect circle of red-hot dots surrounding a hole in the fence. A hole that hadn't been there before. And kneeling on the floor, where the hole touched the tarmac, was a girl. She seemed to be about 4 years old, and was naked.
