Alice hated wearing diapers and training pants and often told her mother so. Finally she had overcome the problem - or so she thought - and couldn't wait to get home to show her mommy her special potty training certificate. As soon as the school bus came to a halt at the corner near her house, she jumped out ignoring her bus sitter's pleas to be careful and ran to her house.

"Mommy mommy!" she yelled as she burst through the screen door.

"Yes dear what is it?" she asked in her usual motherly tone of voice.

"I did it mommy....no more potty training see?" Alice cheered as she held up her certificate to her mother.

"My goodness you finally did it Alice! Mommy is so proud of you." she explained as she picked up her sweet little angel and gave her a huge hug. "Now it's no more diapers of potty pants right?"

"Yippeeeee!" cheered Alice as she ran to her little playroom to play with her dollies.

Her mother watched her run away with a smile creasing her lips. She was so proud that Alice had overcome her predicament. God what a long and trying time it had been. Now it was finally over - hopefully.

Alice's father (Henry) had different ideas for his little girl though. Little was known about him around the neighborhood or amongst his co-workers. Henry was indeed a mystery to most people. He was quite receptive to people when spoken to, but he possessed an aura of aloofness that baffled almost everyone that knew him. It was by no means an overwhelming character trait - therefore most people tended to ignore it. However whenever people attempted to contact him at home, he was found to be quite an elusive individual. This was because Henry Silinger was hardly at home - except on weeknights when he got home from work. During weekends (with the exception of Sunday), he was not to be found at home. Instead, Henry took part in a small child pornography ring that resided inside the city during Friday and most Saturday nights. It was his intention to introduce Alice into this ring very shortly - once he obtained complete and total custody of her through the eventual divorce of his wife.....(cont)
