Five years before Wayne had been overseas, in Spain. He had been given the assignment to bug a certain hotel room in Northern Spain to get some incriminating evidence on a leader of the Basque rebels. The DDO - then only a section chief had set up a sting to incriminate the rebel leader. It was known to the Agency that the man had a preference for young girls, very young girls. The Spanish government wanted to get some tapes of him having sex with some young girl and use it to blackmail the rebel leader into betraying his organization. The Basque was married to a very strict religious woman, and her father was also influential in the rebel movement. A threat to expose the sexual tendencies of the rebel leader would most likely lead to his complete cooperation.

Without the knowledge of the section chief, Wayne had completed his installation three days before the planned sting. Wayne had planned to take some time off and head over to the Rivera for some sight seeing - mainly to take some candid shots of a nude beach he had heard about. That night in the hotel bar he overheard the section chief, after several drinks, tell one of his agency buddies that he would be "auditioning" several girls to pick one to use to set up the "honey pot" on the rebel leader. Wayne decided to postpone his trip and watch the section chief instead. He figured it might be more interesting and besides it would give him a chance to check out his equipment before the sting was put in place.

The next night Wayne was in his room, his monitors and recorders on and operating. He had placed five cameras in the target room. One on each side of the bed in the walls, one overhead - directly above the bed, one in the headboard, and one he was particularly proud of in the foot board of the bed. The one in the carved footboard was aimed about two inches above the mattress. There were also two good microphones behind the headboard, just in case one failed - or as Wayne thought with a smile, someone wanted to hear fucking in stereo.......(cont)
