The Breadwinner
Written by Baron Darkside
It had been four long, terrible months since his stepfather had gotten killed and left him and his mother alone once again. But this time, there were two extra mouths to feed. Hell, he thought, they had just skimming by while Chuck had been around, but now they were just barely keeping their heads above water with his mother's welfare and his job. Between school and the job afterwards and on Saturdays, he was putting in thirteen, fourteen hours a day not counting the occasional homework. Thank god, I don't have any homework tonight, he groaned.
But the worst part of the whole thing was breaking up with his girlfriend, Claudia. When he had started working, she had quickly grown tired of his absence and found herself a new boyfriend, leaving Jason high and dry. At first, missing her had just been a deep, ache down deep inside, but now, missing her and knowing that some other guy was probably dicking her hot, wet snatch was about to drive him over the edge. If he didn't find a way to get laid pretty soon, he didn't know what he was going to do. Sure, whacking off took the edge for a day or so, but it just wasn't the same. It seemed like he walked around with a hard on all the time now, and any time he saw a good-looking woman, he just stopped and stared at her. It was getting out of hand, he thought as he finally walked up to the front door where he lived with his mother and his two stepsisters.
Slipping his key into the lock, he turned it and pushed the door open.
"Hi, Jasey, baby," his mother said as she saw him walk into the kitchen. "You look tired."
"Tired," he growled, setting his lunch pail on the table.
"I bet you are," she told him, walking over and kissing him tenderly on the cheek
"Well, we need the money," he said, sitting down at the table and watching his mother set a plate of food in front of him. "We gotta make ends meet somehow."
"I know, honey, " she complained along with him.
"We'll make it somehow," he said, taking a bite of food.
"Yes, we will," she frowned. "Somehow."
Just then, almost as if on cue, Jason heard a cry from one of the babies in the living room.
"You eat your supper," she smiled at him, walking over to the door, "I've got to feed Susie."
Jason watched his mother step across the living room and bend down over the bassinet sitting in the corner of the room. Slowly chewing his food, he saw her lift the baby into her arms and carry it over to the couch.
Lifting another forkful of food to his mouth, he watched his mother slowly unbutton her blouse and spread it open baring her big, beautiful breasts.
