Mommy's Boy
Written by Baron Darkside
"Oh, honey, I'm sorry, but I have to run some errands for Roger," she smiled back at him.
"It's been two weeks and I'm getting my fill of you never having any time for me, but having all the time in the world for your boy," he snarled back at her. "I guess I should known that when we got married. But I don't think I'm going to put up with it any more."
"Maybe later, when I get back," she said, walking over to the table and picking up her purse.
"And maybe I won't be here when you get back," he smarted back at her, watching her firm, round hips swishing provocatively as she walked toward the door.
"That's up to you," she said over her shoulder.
Stopping at the door, she turned and looked straight into his eyes.
"When we got married, I told you that Roger had to come first," she said icily. "You said you understood. So do what you have to do but things aren't going to change."
"Okay, I will do what I have to do," he said emphatically. "I guess that this is good-bye then."
"Do what you have to do," she said, turning and walking out the doorway.
Marie felt hardly any remorse as she strolled out to the car. Their marriage wasn't working out anyway. And besides that, it would give her more time to spend with Roger...
"Mom's coming over," Roger said to Amy as she cleared the kitchen table.
"Again?" Amy whined. "I thought that we could spend some time together today. Alone."
"Well," he said, "she asked if she could come over and I told her that it would be okay. You know Mom."
"Yes, I know mom. I should. It seems like she's always over here."
"Maybe she ought to spend some time with her husband," Amy muttered, "then she wouldn't be over here under foot all the time."
"That's no way to talk about Mom," Roger complained.
"I'll tell you what," she said, dropping the dishtowel to the table. "I'm going to go to my mother's for a while. This'll give you time to think about us or give you more time to spend with your Mom. And if you decide that you'd rather spend time with her than spend time with me, we can make it permanent. But I'm tired of you being more interested in her than me."
