The Waitress and the DishWasher
Written by Abear
"I know, he stares at me every time I walk by him," added Julie with a smile. "Are they getting younger, or are we just getting older."
"I think it's a little of both," laughed Michelle as she finished clearing her tray and then turned to join Julie at the cook station.
They were both waitresses at the popular seaside restaurant "Duffy's," and they had worked there since their youth. The restaurant was a small, cozy place that always seemed to be packed. It provided a great opportunity for local high school and college students to make some extra cash during the year, and with the great environment found in the busy kitchen, many of the younger workers stayed on well into their adulthood. Sandy and Michelle had attended high school together, and they had worked together as bus-girls through one magical summer. That summer turned into 10 years of waiting on tables, and they had both become pleasant and familiar faces.
As the years started to roll by, there was an endless stream of new and younger faces working in the kitchen. Dishwasher's, food prep, and bus boys all came and went with the seasons. With each and every new season, came a new wave of horny and flirtatious high school boys. They waitresses usually laughed it off, these awkward attempts at flirting, and they just smiled back as the boys tried to rush that development into manhood.
The new season brought on a dishwasher named Adam. He was a sophomore at the local high school, and he had already gained notoriety as a standout wrestler on the varsity squad. He had a lean, wiry body that suited him well in the lower weight classes. He had taken a summer job as a dishwasher, and Sandy became his immediate focus.
It had gone on like this since she had started, and she took it in stride. She was an attractive blonde, with a tomboy look and personality that always seemed to appeal to men. She had wavy hair that hung just below her shoulders, and she had a perky smile that was always present on her face. A slight upturn to her nose and sparkling blue eyes completed the package, and she caught many people's attention.
She had always been interested in athletics, and that is where the tomboy nature of her personality had come from. She had excelled in softball and volleyball in high school, and she was driven by a competitive nature that always seemed to burn inside her body. She was used to the advances and flirting from the young guys in the kitchen, and she thought it was cute and funny.
Adam, on the other hand, thought Sandy was a goddess, and there was nothing "cute" about his wants or desires. As a young boy of 15, he had been lucky enough to have already had some experiences with older high school girls. With his toned physique, and his dark, attractive looks, he had already developed a confidence when it came to girls, and he wanted Sandy to stop thinking of him as a cute kid, and to start thinking of him as a man. The summer started to fly by and the restaurant was packed as usual. Adam would spend his nights behind the dishwasher staring at Sandy.
The others in the kitchen all gave her a hard time about it, and she started to become bothered by his advances. He had progressed from cute, harmless flirting, to actually speaking with her and talking about getting together. He was a cute looking boy, and it did look like he had a great body under the tight white t-shirts he always wore, but he was only a kid. She would always tell him that he was too young, and that he should look for someone his own age.
Most of the people who worked at Duffy's lived nearby. It was usually quite busy on the weekends in the summer, and the weekday nights usually saw a decent business. With the proximity to the beach, and the family atmosphere among all the employee's, the bar would often be filled on a weekday night by staff members. Michelle and Sandy were both off on a Tuesday night, and they headed down to the bar. Ralph, the head chef, had invited them down, as it was a slow night.
They both got there around 10:00pm, and the night was just winding down. The bartender Matt had the blender fired up, and he was mixing a round of Margaritas as the girls sat down. Ralph came out with a platter of Oysters as the girls arrived, and he sat down to slurp a few down with them. This is how life went at the restaurant on the weekday evenings, and it was fun to have the whole place to yourself.
"So what's the deal with you and Adam?" joked Matt, smiling at Sandy as she turned bright red. She gave him an evil stare as Michelle piped in.
"You know how Sandy likes to rob the cradle," laughed Michelle, causing everyone else to laugh with her. "She always gets all the cute guys!"....(cont)
