Her dad was a good man, but the company had always been the focus of his life, usually leaving her and her mother to handle social events and keep each other busy. It was not a big deal, or a problem for either of them, as they always got whatever they wanted, and they had a lot of fun together. It was this focus of her father's, his business first attitude that introduced Lindsay to this wonderful world that she is now in.

When he took over the company from his father, he had turned it into a bigger operation. With youthful enthusiasm, he opened a couple more plants in different cities, and he developed a large, successful operation out of a small local business. It was this enthusiasm that led him to explore every opportunity that he could find, and he was always involved in some sort of club or organization to gain new business.

Lindsay was twelve years old when her dad became interested in international business. He had found a small Russian firm that was looking for a partner, and he began flying to Russia to discuss the opportunity with the firm, and he soon garnered government support and financing. It was a huge deal that would make her father a multi millionaire, and he put this deal above his focus on his own company. He became entrenched in this deal, ignoring everything and everyone except the people involved in this Russian joint venture.

Lindsay and her mom continued on like usually, taking trips and having fun with each other. It surprised them both when dad told them that the Russians were coming. He had invited the top two executives from the Russian firm to come and stay with his family while they visited the states. Lindsay and her mom were both excited when he asked them to help him prepare, and they all went about learning as many things about Russia as they could. Her dad even went shopping with Lindsay and her mother, helping them pick out brand new dresses for the big evening.

Lindsay helped her mom with the food, and they both planned a huge dinner for their guests. Dad took care of the alcohol, buying plenty of vodka, as well as an assortment of other liquors and wine. As the day approached, the girls were both brimming with excitement, and her mother sat down with her father to explain to Lindsay what was going on.

They explained the importance of this evening, and they stressed that they should all do everything that they could to make them feel comfortable and at home. This deal would be worth millions to their family, and they should all do everything and anything to make sure that their guests were happy. Her dad repeated that she should do everything to make them happy, and he stressed the importance of this deal. The girls looked at each other, and they promised him that they would both do their best.

Her dad was bundle of wild electricity on the day of their arrival. Lindsay and her mom took their time getting dressed, checking each other's makeup and dress to ensure perfection. They had both spent time at the tanning salon to look even better for the big night, and Lindsay laughed as she told her mother that they both looked fabulous. Her father let out a low whistle as they both sauntered down the stairs to wait for their guests.

"You two look incredible!" he said with a huge smile. "Everything is going to be perfect tonight. My two girls are perfect. Thank you for all your help." Hearing how happy her dad was made Lindsay feel great, and they waited with him for their guests. He gave them both one more big smile as the doorbell rang, and he opened the door to their new friends.

"Aleksey, Ivan, so good to see you again," he told them as he shook their hands. Ivan was a short old man, while Aleksey was a tall dark haired man. He looked very strong, and he looked like a football player. Dad introduced Lindsay and his wife, and they all went into the family room to sit down. Lindsay brought out appetizers and cocktails while the adults talked, and she was invited to join in.

"You can call me Alex," smiled the big Russian to Lindsay, turning to tell her folks what a beautiful daughter they had. She blushed and thanked him for the compliments, and she sat and listened while they discussed business. Ivan asked to see the shop, and they decided to take a drive over to check it out before dinner.

"Comrade, I think I am going to stay here," said Alex, explaining that the long flight had tired him, and that he was not feeling all that well. "You go on ahead. I will stay here and rest.".....(cont)
