This mutated genetic string was then passed on to young Kelly.

Already gifted with an incredible mind, thanks to her gifted parents, the genetic traits that she had inherited gave young Kelly advanced ESP abilities. Dormant in her body for most of her young life, the powers would emerge from time to time, and would always leave the young girl confused over what had actually happened. It was the actual parental influences that pushed her abilities to emerge on a certain night.

As an infant, her parents placed Kelly's crib in their bedroom, often snuggling with the little girl in their bed, and letting her sleep next to their bed in her crib.
