Cops
Written by Abear
"You sure you're OK to drive?" asked her friend Sue. "You could always crash with one of us and head home tomorrow."
Cheryl shook her head as she got into her car, feeling hornier than drunk, full of self-confidence in her ability to drive home. She fired up her car and took off towards the turnpike, the car weaving slightly in the road as she struggled to stay straight, the alcohol affecting her vision and judgment.
Cheryl laughed as she drove, thinking of the fun that they had that night, her foot pressing down on the accelerator as the car sped through the sleepy town. She noticed a car behind her, but her mind did not even register that it may have been a police car. She continued on, her wheels vibrating as she crossed over the reflector's that were imbedded in the pavement on the outside of the lane.
"We should stop the car," suggested Jessica, her concern for the driver's safety far outweighing the idea of waiting to confirm if the person was driving drunk or not. "Come on, the car has crossed the median several times." She called it in on the radio as her partner hit the lights.
"Shit......damn!" cursed Cheryl when she saw the flashing lights. She reached for her purse and a breath mint as she pulled over......(cont)
